Vitamin D
As we head into the winter months the amount of vitamin D we will be getting through sun exposure will be decreasing.
Vitamin D has important roles in the body – including maintaining healthy bones and teeth, effective immunity and balanced mental health.
The Vitamin D council recommends up to 5000 IU per day for adults depending on sun exposure and diet. Their website has lots of great referenced information. Check it out:
